CORE PRODUCTION
At Seal Silicon Rings SSR®, the production of elastomer-based technical seals is mainly based on two key forming and vulcanization methods: rubber injection molding and press vulcanization (mainly compression molding). Both methods end with the vulcanization process, which is the chemical cross-linking of the rubber compound under the influence of temperature and time, giving the products elasticity, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. Both processes are supported by modern production solutions - ensuring process consistency and high-quality finished products.
FINISHED PRODUCT CLEANING
At Seal Silicon Rings SSR®, the cryogenic deflashing process (cryogenic deflashing / deburring) is a key stage in finishing rubber products. Thanks to our in-house cryogenic chamber, we effectively remove production residues (flash) without the risk of damaging the correct geometry of the seal.
